YouthNPower
YouthNPower: Transforming Care is a collective of young adults between the ages of 18 to 25, who have personal experience with the child welfare system and come from communities that are excessively monitored. They have collaborated with researchers, advocates, and organizers for two years to investigate, record and amplify the capabilities, requirements, and aspirations of young adults who are aging out of foster care in New York City.
Artiems worked with Children Defense Fund to design and develop a website for the Direct Cash Transfer Pilot Project.
